A new self-driving truck has recently been launched in Nevada, intended to show how autonomous trucks will make the nation’s roadways safer.
The popularity of the Las Vegas bike share program is helping to increase driver awareness of cyclists on roadways. By seeing cyclists more frequently on roads, drivers are more likely to look for them. A greater level of awareness will likely lead to increased safety for cyclists.

Nurses are at a higher risk of suffering preventable work-related injuries than many other occupations. Over half of the injuries nurses experience are musculoskeletal disorders, many of which could have been avoided if hospitals invested in the proper equipment.
Millennial drivers between 19 and 24 are a serious hazard to other motorists. According to the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, over 88 percent of millennials engaged in at least one dangerous driving behavior within a 30-day period. Older drivers and teens between 16 and 18 are also guilty of engaging in the risky driving behavior, though not to the same degree. Overall, young millennials are the worst offenders when it comes to engaging in risky behavior behind the wheel, especially regarding distracted driving where cell phones are involved.
